You will need to apply to the NDIS to let them know that you want your child to become a NDIS participant.

If your child is aged seven or older, there are a few ways you can apply: 

  • Your local area coordinator or local NDIS office can help you apply on behalf of your child. They can help you through the application process and be your point of contact. Find your nearest location 
  • You have the option to apply over the phone on 1800 800 110.
  • You can complete an NDIS application form .

If your child is younger than 7, the NDIS encourages you to talk to an early childhood partner before applying to the NDIS. Your early childhood partner can provide supports to children before they apply, and let you know if the NDIS is right for your child.

If you apply for a plan,please send us the following:

  • Identity documents (drivers’ licence) so we can verify your identity
  • Documents that show that you are eligible 
  • Your signed NDIS application.

If you are interested in signing up for plan management, you can do so in just three simple steps. First, visit the Join Now page on our website and fill out the registration form. Then upload a copy of your NDIS Plan. After you have read and signed our agreement, you are all set.

Our services will not cost you anything, it is all covered by the NDIS. If you are not sure if your plan includes funding for plan management, please get in touch.

Absolutely! You have the choice and control to choose and/or change your plan manager at any time.You are in control!You just need to notify your current plan manager, then follow our easy sign-up process here.

Absolutely! Our online portal and App mean that you can easily track your child’s NDIS plan budget any time. You can:

  • View claims
  • Login via SMS
  • Track spending
  • Add new supports

If you would like external help to manage your NDIS plan, you can discuss bringing in a plan manager at your planning meeting. The NDIS provides funding for the services and support of a plan manager which is separate from your other budget items.

If you’re in the middle of your NDIS plan and wish to make changes, you can reach out to the NDIS at 1800 800 110 and explore options for incorporating plan management into your existing plan.

There are many reasons for you to engage a plan manage to assist with managing your child’s plan. These may include:

 

  • The ability to use providers of your choice regardless of whether they are NDIS registered
  • A plan manager can help maximise your child’s NDIS plan
  • Free up time as your plan manager will deal with providers and paying invoices on your behalf
  • Providing you with independent advice

We will give you a letter containing the information your providers need so they can be paid promptly. The letter will have all the details required for them to process your payments efficiently.

Once your providers are set up against your plan there are three ways you can manage your invoicing.

  • You can ask your providers to send your invoices directly to Plans4Kids
  • You can forward any invoices received to [email protected]
  • You can submit invoices on the Plans4Kids App or Online Portal
